Born in Trento in 1960 and a graduate of the Istituto Agrario in San Michele all’Adige.
He began his career in 1980 with a prestigious sparkling wine producer in Trento, where he remained until 1985. After some winemaking experiences in Frascati and Trentino cellars, in 2001 he took on the role of winemaker at the Fontana Candida winery and later became its director. A supporter of the importance of promoting Frascati wine, an icon of typical local production, he oversees selection of grapes from the 210 hectares of vineyards with scrupulous care.
