This wine- which takes its name from the noble Orvieto Monaldeschi della Vipera family- is transformed by its charm and allure, along with tradition and originality, into a special moment in everyday life. The local and international grapes are fermented separately in stainless steel. After malolactic fermentation part of the wine is aged for 8-12 months in French oak barriques. Vipra Rossa is a deep ruby red in colour with vibrant aromas, fruity hints beautifully blended with spicy notes, and a velvety, well-balanced flavour. The first vintage of Vipra Rossa dates back to 2002.
